Tommy Emmanuel was born into a talented family who inspired and encouraged his talent for finger Guitar Pick. Taking up the guitar when he was four years and is a guitarist from experience when he heard a record by Chet Atkins on the radio. It was a turning point in his life, but the direction of his career as guitarist took was hardly compatible with Nashville finger picking.
Tommy Emmanuel Carrère as guitarist took him to the world rock and roll where he won talent missions on guitar, playing drums in a rock band with his brother Phil on guitar and ended up playing with biggest names in pop music in Australia. He began his current career in 1990 with his album "Dare to be Different" is strongly encouraged at a time when Players like Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler seemed to have the guitar solo niche cornered.
Tommy had to work hard to remain visible for a log of purchases, while that development opportunities that a child had heard of the technique of Chet Atkins.
