What guitar tone pots INA?
How to pot your work, I am very confused. I replaced the pills with poor donkey EMG and I do not want a shit tone pots / volume me back. I do not know much about the wiring or the role of these pans tone so can someone explain the basic function of what is good / bad tone pot INA? Please help
First, you must use pots that comes with pads Anyway, otherwise it will sound like shit. Secondly, the next time you ask, a little more specific on the model. Loosen the pick-ups, and pull all the cables. Unscrew the output connector and remove everything from there too. His guitar circuit must be completely empty. Once you have removed all insert the volume pot - which comes with the pills - a potentiometer in the hole volume. This things get difficult. Place the EMG volume and tone control on the instrument. Install the sensor in the mounting ring and install the cable quickly. Solder the wire pickup in the case of a volume control and connect the cables from the switch. Put in the EMG output jack. Solder output cable to the jack.Solder red wire to the battery clip wire red truck and cover the connection with heat shrink tubing provided. Use a foam packaging that comes with the truck and surround the battery to isolate it. Place the battery in the charger and place securely in the cavity of control. Check everything before closing the cavity. If not, you should contact the company, or a repair shop that knows how to install them. This should help. Other Note: It was very difficult to explain without a diagram, so bare with me.
