A major puzzle in the book of Hebrews is the author, because the writer did not give his own name or refer to circumstances or connections which he said he was with absolute security. A study of Hebrews shows that the writer was a man of great literary talent with a style that was closer to the classical Greek than any other New Testament writer. This writer was not a direct disciple of Christ (Hebrews 2:3). The writer was well versed in the Old Testament, citing the version of Seventy. In addition, it could be a Jew, because he often uses the first person plural to address a Jewish audience. He was a friend of Timothy and most likely was part of the circle Pauline (13:23). Your use of the Book of Habakkuk 2:4, "The righteous shall live by faith" (10:38) agrees with the use Paul in Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11.
Various views have been proposed regarding the identity of authors, but none has behind it unanimously the same tradition that supports the authorship of the Gospel of Luke and Acts III. The Church of the East since the early days of the opinion that the book Hebrew being written by Paul but probably indirectly. Eusebius says that Clement of Alexandria, also believes that the apostle Paul who wrote the book of Hebrews and that Luke translated it into Greek. Origen, often cited as the Epistle of Paul and say that it was generally believed that his, but by giving his own opinion, said: "If then any church sees this as a letter from Paul, who is praised for her, even for older men delivered in the state without question. But who is who actually wrote the epistle, God knows. "However, the general line of argument and style and diction of the book are not Pauline.
Several other names were mentioned as the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews could, which include Barnaby, who said Tertullian, and Apollo, a hypothesis of Martin Luther. However, Barnaby is facilitated by the fact that he was a Jew, a Levite, also being a friend of education Paul, who should be very similar Writes Paul, and could serve the Jews and Gentiles. In addition, his long experience in terms of adjustment of instruction with the character in the Hebrew book, which is education. Now, of Apollo, there is no tradition at the beginning of any kind. He also was a Jew, an Alexandrian, taught in the Scriptures, and the remarkable success in his ministry with the Jews. He was a friend of Paul and is still very active in his own department at the end of Paul's life (Titus 3:13).
In addition, several commentators have suggested that the author of Hebrews was or may Lucas, Peter, Judas, Stephen, Silvanus (Silas), Epaphras (Epaphroditus), Philip Evangelista, Priscilla, Mary, the mother of Jesus, Clement of Rome Aristion, and many others. However, none of these beliefs or opinions contained enthusiastic in general. The early Christians were first accepted all books of the New Testament as inspired by God because they have apostolic teaching, the author and the book of Hebrews is very probably an apostle or a close friend of at least one of the apostles.
Finally, there is nothing in the book of Hebrews that clearly points a man, but I believe there is little evidence that the most likely parameter Paul as the author. The following reasons therefore we are inclined to Paul is the author of Hebrews (1) The author was a friend of Timothy (Hebrews 13:23), (2) The writer was very knowledgeable about the Scriptures of the Old Testament (3) The author uses the same quotation from the Old Testament was Paul used two other occasions: "The righteous shall live by faith" (Habakkuk Quoted in Hebrews 2:4. 10:38; Rom. 1:17, Gal. 3:11), (4) The author Hebrews ends with the same symbol or mark that Paul says is his special signal to stop his writing. Look what Paul says in II Thess. Hebrews 3:17-18 and compare. 13:25 with the closure of the epistles of Paul, (5) The author wrote about "many things difficult to understand ... "(Hebrews 5:11). Peter said the same thing about Paul's Epistle to the Jews ..." Paul wrote to you ... some things hard to understand " (II Peter 3:15-16).
So, in conclusion to this question is asked, is Hebrews epistle written by the apostle Paul? The proof is not entirely true, but it does in my opinion to Paul.
