Machine heads / tuners head down the guitar??
I have a Fender 10 + years (my parents bought new for me as a teenager). There always acted fairly high, so nice when I stopped playing the guitar. Recently, I decided by to pick it up again and the action is very, very high over the head of the machine in the back of the head are all mobile (especially the low E, high E, D & G), some screws have even become so vague just fell! Is it because the soul has to tighten or loosen? It has never been maintained since I bought it, I am assuming it has to be tightened. I've never tried self-repair before, but I'd like to try this guitar. Thank you for any help!
I wish it was easier to answer. See sources below for an informative site. First action. The share of work between the bridge and the mast. The soul is mainly used to restore the arch effect of the cervix. You want the neck is slightly concave (slight bend in the center). It also adjusts the angle in which the strings of your connection to the presidency. The adjustment their main action is the bridge saddle (square metal ',' Your leave channels). They should have screws that, when screwed in, or raising or lowering the saddle. Depending on how hard / soft worry, you want this position. More at the source below. If you have sealed tuners and screws keep falling, then you may need to replace. if there is a screw on top of PIN roll. If not, then they need replaced. If you talk the screws holding the head, then you may need to repair a hole in a wood shop equipment, or you can use a screw threaded slightly larger (thicker).
