I have problems with my pedal board configuration. What is the best way to hold the pedals?
I an Ibanez WH-10 Wah, Boss CE-1 Chorus & BD-2 Blues Driver. I also have a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion on the road. Just do not feel im getting crystal clear waters its what I want. Also I have a number of Marshall to 10 mg and a Fender American Standard Stratocaster.
In general, you want to depreciation, the tuner, after compression to start the chain stop signal. After the rules are less in stone, but my suggestion is: Guitar - BD2 - CE1 - Wah This would follow the "standard" rules ... and then the distortion of time-based modulation. I realized that putting a choir pedal before a distortion pedal can be interesting when the two are, but I prefer still prefer later. In addition, a wah can be helpful before any other, but tend to prefer that, after ..... especially if you have a volume or a function of momentum only, this so you can step on him and obtain an increase in volume of a single note of things alone, if the song requires. Even without sound is preferable to use wah if the last of the signal chain. I'll say ... tone does not come with pedals. The biggest impact on the tone the speaker and amplifier, in that order. If your amplifier has less than 10 "speakers, no pedal can get what sounds good. Furthermore, a couple 12 opens really push the sound and more air. Regarding the parameters into your amp, which can be very easy to moderate its marshes. For more clarity, then you must make sure not to press too low to keep the gain down. = More profit of clarity, less noise and more dynamic, which are all anti-clarity. Just as the increased use anything that is absolutely necessary. If you feel you can not get enough without diming crisis, gain, then To see more pickups hot. Much of the acute attack, MIDs maintain at least 50% (MID = Volume volume is not clear), and feel free to play with contour command. I play more, so keep right, but it is for you. I also recommend lowering the bottom side of their bus a little. Reducing the bass response improves clarity, since it is the low frequencies to saturate the first stage gain. More space room for acute listening = WTF is really happening in their sound. Least in the mud = less true for other instruments that can play. Doing what reduces the factor "scrap" something, and may or may not need to play with the gain control. The goal should never be controlled more 75%. In addition, reducing the gain of Other sources of distortion (distortion pedal) also increase the overall clarity. Of course, balance that with the kind of sound you want. Since you did not say what the sound is gone, I can not make too many assumptions, but in general the biggest problems come with a configuration from the level, the gain and the difference equation.
