In this lesson, you learn to play a melody on your ukulele! You do not read music. It is time to learn to play Mary Had A Little Lamb with an easy instruction and tablature notation!

The first string on your ukulele is the bottom line with the more acute. If you have given your ukulele in C tuning its first common channel is an A, your second string an E, the third channel C and the fourth rope G.

Remember, the first string is the bottom line of your ukulele!

Play the second string open. An open string is a string you play without pressing down a fret. Then play the second fret third string, third string open third string second fret, second string open on three occasions.

As you can see that you are using strings and the first box second and third on his ukulele. An advice to help you play smoother is to use the finger of the left index finger to play the notes in the first box you finger the notes on the second box and ring for the third fret.
