Where do I buy an Acoustic Guitar for beginners?
I know they are selling very cheap at Walmart and Target, but in fact buy a guitar here? And since I am just starting, is what I should know? Tips, props, songs or what a beginner should know is welcome!
I agree - Try Guitar Center or your local music store. After playing the guitar for almost 20 years, I can tell you a guitar sound cheap, cheap, and it is harder to play! It sounds strange, but Decent guitar makes all the difference and if it is easier to play and sounds better, chances are that you will continue with it. Some objects you want to get immediately: Step tubes or electronic tuner, nothing worse than a guitar that is false. Manual Chord - book worth having around when I'm adventurous enough to try to find the songs of their own. Polishing Cloth - keep the room clean and lasts longer. additional strings - if you play continuously, it will change channels on your property. # 1 mistake people leave the chains until they break. Change often (if I'm in the Band it changes every 3-4 shows, sometimes more!), but at least once a month. You get a better action (feeling like you play guitar) and, of course, better sound. The search strings you love (perhaps those who came with the guitar are cool), then go to eBay and buy them like candy. Guitar is a fun and easy instrument to play so good luck and stick to it. It is difficult to wrap your hands around the damn thing at first, but once you get used to it, be the life of the party!
